Flooring Matters is known for its’ attention to prep work. In fact, we generally devote more than 50% of our installation time to the preparation process. Unfortunately prep work is often the most overlooked part when installing decorative epoxy and polyurethane flooring systems. We explain to all our clients that it is absolutely essential that any concrete floor must be mechanically abraded by either a diamond grinder or shot blaster before any application of Epoxy can be done. The more thorough and deliberate attention given to the preparation of the floor surface, the more superior performance and overall finish the floor will have.
